'Love Who You Want'?

Some think that nothing could be more blasphemous, pernicious, and disgusting than homosexual “marriage.” But for social engineers among our liberal ruling class, it is only the thin edge of the wedge. Bigwig Hollywood director Nick Cassevetes takes a natural step by applying pro-gay marriage reasoning to incest:

The director of the popular romance “The Notebook” was out promoting a new film [Yellow] that features an incestuous relationship between a brother and sister.

“I’m not saying this is an absolute but in a way, if you’re not having kids — who gives a damn? Love who you want. Isn’t that what we say? Gay marriage — love who you want?” Cassavetes said. …

“This whole movie is about judgment, and lack of it, and doing what you want,” he added.

Again we see that getting your culture from Hollywood is like getting your drinking water from a septic tank.

Just down the line: bestiality and of course, pedophilia. What comes after that, only a progressive could be sick enough to imagine. Refer to the works of the Marquis de Sade for clues.

  1. Same reason they give so many a pass on rape. If it's not producing babies, who cares, right? Just abort the little bastards and do what you feel...

  2. And then they whine about the rape culture they created.

  3. The difference this guy isn't getting is that there are people who have pretty healthy childhoods and turn out to be GLBT, but there are not people who have pretty healthy childhoods and decide they're going to have sex with their siblings. Some things are just dysfunctional, period. There's something to be said for not judging people - my guess is that sexual desire for a sibling is probably more a sickness than sin - but "doing what you want" is a pretty poor set of guidelines for how to live life. It reminds me of this line in a book I read - this guy tells his sister something along the lines of, "If we all just did what we wanted, I would have murdered the jerk who cut me off on the freeway today, made love to the attractive woman I saw in the coffee shop, and YOU would have been dead a long time ago."

  4. In a way it's comedy gold-these same Hollywood moonbeams who condemn teaparty folks as cousin-lovin' trailer trash are cashing in with books and movies about incest as the 'new normal'. Pot and kettle meeting and imploding.
