That ruling from the chair was an obvious abuse of power. It was impossible to say, simply from the volume of voices, whether the “Ayes” outnumbered the “Nays.” To assert that the “Ayes” predominated by a 2-to-1 margin was simply absurd. Quite understandably, many delegates objected to the ruling.What is less understandable is why a motion to put God back in the platform would be so controversial for a party purporting to represent normal Americans. If Democrats are too authoritarian to count their own votes, what are the chances they will count yours in November, after all of Eric Holder’s efforts to facilitate voter fraud?

Expunging God - Abuse of Power
When the Democrat party bosses realized that expunging God from their platform, along with any mention of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, was going to expose their extreme radicalism to voters, they shoehorned both back in after a farcical vote. The floor responded with angry boos. Delegates were not just booing God and Israel, but also the despotic disregard of their will by the slimy Reconquistador at the podium. From Catholic Culture:
