  1. This makes me sick! This adorable little guy is six years old. He doesn't understand a word he's saying. He's parroting back things he's heard from his parents. When I was that age, I wanted to see George Bush (the elder) elected for two very compelling reasons: 1) my mommy was rooting for him to win, and 2) I liked shrubbery. Election Day fell on my birthday that year and I was almost as excited about his victory that evening as I was about my new collection of colorful stuffed dinosaurs. This is how six-year-olds think, people, even smart ones (I was reading at an upper-elementary level).

    I think posting this video, and teaching their kid to parrot political talking points, wasn't the wisest move on the part of his parents, but they are guilty of questionable taste at best, and the boy is guilty of nothing at all. Our instinct as adults should be to protect him. What is wrong with people that they're capable of this kind of vile hate? Look at that little guy - how could anyone want to hurt him? But then I remember that picture that was on here last month, of another little boy even more innocent whose heart was deliberately stopped in his mother's womb, and suddenly I understand how people could be so twisted and I think I need to just wrap this up now because if I don't I'm going to be sick all over my relatively new smartphone.

Yeah, this kid isn't old enough to understand energy resources, border security, economy stuff...I don't necessarily mind people taking kids to political protests, but I do mind when people put words in the mouths of kids who can't possibly have come up with them on their own and can't possibly understand everything they mean. The extreme example for me is in the documentary "The Most Hated Family In America" when one of Shirley Phelps's kids doesn't know what a "fag" is despite spending hours holding signs against them.

      Having said that, the sane human reaction is to feel bad for this kid that his parents are throwing him into something he doesn't understand, not to make statements that bring the lyrics to "Bed Intruder" to mind. "Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife..."

    Also: this kid is six, right? Remember how when you were six you believed everything your parents told you? And remember how when you were sixteen you questioned everything your parents told you? In a few years, when this little guy is old enough to develop his own set of beliefs, he'll probably give the other side a fair hearing ... oh wait, no he won't, they're not just some people his stodgy old folks disagree with, they're the people who were making death threats against him back when he still thought it was cool to have cartoon characters on his underwear. Good going, libtards!

  5. WOW. I think the parents of this boy are partly to blame, for risking his safety by putting a video of him on You Tube, but that doesn't excuse the sick freaks who want him dead.
