Excerpted from The Usual Self-Aggrandizing Tripe from RhUnRealityCheck, written by abortionist Linda Prine, gushing over how 'patient-centered' she is. No kidding-100 percent focused on selling abortion.
"What woke me up to this was my patient, Samantha. She was bringing her one year-old daughter to me for her check-ups. We had concerns about this child: she wasn’t gaining weight properly and she had a rash on her body that looked suspiciously like burns. I got more suspicious when I learned that Samantha’s two older children were not in her custody but were in foster care. Then, in the midst of this, Samantha tells me she’s pregnant. I offered her an abortion and she was relieved and admitted she truly could not cope with another child. I made her an appointment to come to PPNYC on the day I would be there. But she didn’t show.
Three months later, when she finally came back to see me, she was five months pregnant. I asked her what happened. She just couldn’t go to an abortion clinic, she tells me. It scared her. She was afraid there would be protestors. I asked her, if I had been able to do her abortion in my office, would she have had wanted it? She said, “Of course.” It made me realize that sometimes, abortions need to be really easy for women to access. Especially for women whose lives are so troubled, like Samantha."
Was Samantha offered help caring for her born children? (You know, the ones prochoice claims prolife doesn't care about?) Or any help to make her current situation better? Nope-instead Doctor Wonderful pushed abortion on this woman, even at five months, even though this woman was clearly afraid and there was no medical indication for abortion. Abortion clinic workers are well trained in closing the sale, and this kind of coercion is business as usual for them, all in the name of 'helping women'. Helping women like Samantha with anything other than killing? Forget about it. It was far more important for the abortionist to make the sale than report the abuse.
Yep, no offer whatsoever to help Samantha improve her life.. unless killing her unborn baby before she had the chance to abuse it, is what you call help. Meanwhile, her then 1 yr old endures abuse while not being properly fed. She should have went to a CPC, where she could get real help, where people really do care about the whole person. You know, like help w/ her unborn baby, as well as help for her born one.
ReplyDeleteExactly. We help people in her situation and worse every day. It's about entire families, not focusing on killing one human being. Who knows who might have been abusing those kids? Dr Dumbass sure didn't follow up and find out, or ask someone else to. Makes my blood boil.
ReplyDeleteif i'm not mistaken, people in the medical profession are mandatory reporters, meaning if they even SUSPECT abuse, they have to report it by law. that "doctor" totally failed Samantha if she wasn't the one abusing those kids, and she failed that baby too either way, choosing a freakin' abortion SALE over a child's life in jeopardy.
ReplyDeleteand prochoice claims we're the ones who don't give a shit about women. it figures. this "doctor" couldn't be bothered to get to the bottom of whatever was going on, and she's the one who has to live with the choices she made at the end of the day. unfortunately that child is the one who's paying the price for it.
Keep in mind the abortion industry is self-regulating and self-policing, which means the inmates are running the asylum. It's why they screech so hard about any regulation legislation-they have free reign to circumvent the law when their own are looking the other way. It's how Tiller, Gosnell et al got away with what they did. Abused kids, predators knocking up young girls, pimps who bring in volume business? Se selective abortions? Double billing Medicare? Shhh.
ReplyDeletesurprise, surprise. letting them be in charge of themselves is like electing some drug cartel to be in charge of the DEA.
ReplyDeletethe self-regulating is also what enabled Tiller and Gosnell to continue their crap for decades, and people looked the other way at the expense of both women and their babies. then again, as long as there's $$$ to be made, why should they care?
