Back in the Twitter Gulag...

...yet again. The reason they gave this time: I'm an 'aggressive follower' who has followed and unfollowed too many people. I'm following a whopping 450 people and haven't tweeted since yesterday, one tweet that wished everyone Happy Mother's Day. Too subversive for Twitter, I guess. No need to wonder who's behind it, been expecting it. Ah, well, I needed a break anyway.

Now Twitter wants me to file some ass-kissey appeal to get reinstated. Am I on fucking trial here? Pondering my next move. Could be interesting. The fact that I have so many enemies means I stood up for something. Either way, I can live with that.

  2. LOL, true, I'm sure there's equally moronic blog fodder on FB. I'm never on there, so I don't see it.

  3. If you troll on Facebook, you have to remember that they are report happy, and Facebook is delete happy. That's how I lost my first account. Make a page and troll under it, or a fake account.

  4. They can't be any worse than Twitter. I've reported people on FB selling drugs out of their place of residence-still there.

  5. Really? That's surprising. My first account got deleted for fucking arguing about Elder Scrolls versus Final Fantasy haha. And the abortion debates are where the people report like a million times in a row, so they tend to get deleted quickly. I don't bother with them, usually, waste of my time. I will talk to some of them privately, but the debates are just nasty, it's not really my personality to just go at people's throats.

  6. Twitter suspends based on an algorithm, so if a troll can get enough people to report you, it doesn't matter why they're reporting you. There's been a huge war on there lately over this, as I'm sure you've seen if you read the posts about it here. I didn't know FB was that harsh, I've spent maybe a grand total of an hour on there the entire time I've had an account, just don't care for it. I'm sure the debates there are as nasty as on Twitter though. Proaborts are the same wherever you go.

  7. It all depends on the type of person who reports. My MySpace account (years ago) was deleted, not suspended, deleted.. by a bitch named Barbara Ann Cooper from San Diego. Then she trolled my brother, and had his deleted too. Same personality as Melissa Brewer, paranoid, and above the rest of us.

Anyway... I just stopped in to see if you had surfaced. Glad you're ok! I'm off to get ready for work, have a good day. :)

  8. Twitler is currently celebrating. She favorited a tweet about your account suspension and has pulled out the stalking IRL line again now that you're gone. So I tweeted out her picture again.

    1. LOL! I have this image of her hunched over her computer in a foodstained shirt, feverishly DMing people to report me. Must have been a real effort. Too funny about the pic.

  9. Miss you on twitter. I have a comment for you that I think is a good one when you come back. It's a comment someone made on Getglue.com. I will send you the screen shot when you come back to twitter.

    1. Thanks, Steph. I'll be back eventually. If you want, you can twitpic the screenshot and I'll look for it later.

    2. OK. I just put it on twitpic. Notice how he calls abortion one of the "lesser social issues". Abortion is not a social issue. It's a human rights issue. In fact it's the most important of all human rights issues since without the right to life, all other rights are meaningless, useless, & worthless.
